Modern music literally went up a half-step.
Most of the hits in urban music, when produced by a Negro, is in D minor.
When produced by a Caucasian, it's in E minor.
D minor has the simplest chords to find, and translates into F major.
E minor is the opening scale on the guitar, and translates into G major.
Nowadays, likely due to the digital conversion of 2009, everything is in D sharp minor.
Which is the scale played with all black keys.
It translates into F sharp major and is visually more appealing to the person playing it.
It's also very simple.
I had a blast jamming on the keys earlier today (talked about on Enter the Hamilton), and decided to share my musical observations.
To keep from doing something drastic in the name of joy.
Ima get back to it.
-so mote it be
